Congratulations on your upcoming arrival! My name is Amanda Marshall. I am a certified Labor Doula through CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professionals Association). I was led to this profession because of my love for babies and to provide young families with hope and support. I believe children are a gift from God and I consider it an honor to have the job I have. With a young family of my own, I understand the worries and concerns that come along with childbirth and childrearing. As a Doula, I feel my job goes further than Labor support. I not only will help you create a birth plan, but do my best as your Doula to provide you with emotional and physical support that will help you through the labor and delivery process. I will be able to do as many home visits as needed to assist in baby care, breastfeeding and emotional support for you and your family. One thing that is very important to me is knowing the mom as no regrets with her birth experience. It all comes down to having an awesome miracle in the end. I also welcome single and teen moms.
